Our services
At Pat Giddens Ltd, we specialise in handcrafted soft furnishings with a personal, end-to-end service. Every project begins with an initial consultation, where we take the time to understand your needs, style preferences, and the character of your space. Once we have established what you're looking for, we will set up a site visit to see the space you're working with.
Our team will take precise measurements and assess any architectural or functional considerations. Once the design is finalised, all items are then made by hand in our London-based workshop by our experienced makers. We oversee the process from start to finish, ensuring each piece is crafted with care and attention to detail.
Finally, everything is installed by our in-house fitters, who are trained to work with all types of curtain poles, tracks, and motorised systems. Their experience ensures that your curtains, blinds or furnishings are fitted to the highest standard.

Made-to measure curtains
We create bespoke curtains made to fit your space, your style, and your practical needs. Whether you're looking for elegant full-length drapes, soft linen voiles, or classic interlined curtains with traditional detailing, each design is tailored to suit your home perfectly.
Our team will guide you through choosing the right fabric, lining, heading and finish, drawing from an extensive library of fabrics and trims. Every curtain is handmade in our London workshop by skilled makers, ensuring exceptional craftsmanship and a completely custom result.
We offer all curtain styles, including:
-
Pencil pleat, pinch pleat, and wave headings
-
Blackout linings and thermal interlinings
-
Pelmets, swags and tails for period or traditional interiors
-
Curtains for bay windows
-
Café curtains and privacy panels
Whether you're dressing a single window or an entire home, we’ll work with you to create curtains that are both beautiful and functional.

Privacy Panels
Café curtains, also known as privacy panels, are a timeless window treatment that offer privacy while still allowing natural light to filter through. Traditionally hung on the lower half of a window, they’re perfect for street-facing rooms, bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchens, or any space where modesty is needed without compromising brightness.
Typically mounted on a decorative café rod in finishes such as brass, antique brass, black, or nickel, they can be tape, slot headed (flat or gathered), or hand-gathered to suit both classic and contemporary interiors.
